Veterinary Nurse
Cassie began as a trainee nurse with us during her studies in the Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing after completing the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at La Trobe University. She has since graduated and gained valuable experiences in medical and surgical nursing with us, alongside various other clinics, hospitals, and shelters.
Cassie has always been passionate about animals with most of her working life focusing on optimising animal care and wellbeing. Cassie is keen to put theory to practice and takes all opportunities to ensure ongoing learning in all areas of veterinary nursing to maximise the benefits and experience of patients and owners.
Cassie has been surrounded by animals all her life and knew she wanted to work in the animal industry from a young age. She began horse riding as a child and despite her parents hoping she would grow out of it, she is still an avid horse rider in her spare time and has now owned her beloved horse, Penny, for 7 years. Cassie is also a proud fur mum to her adopted senior cat, Misty.
