Dr. Diana Wilson is the owner and a Senior Veterinarian at Toorak Rd Veterinary Clinic. She completed her studies in Veterinary Science at The University of Melbourne and has worked in veterinary practice for more than 20 years. She has extensive experience in all aspects of small animal internal medicine and emergency with a keen interest in giant breed dogs and surgery.
With the completion of her surgical memberships in 2010 from the Australian Veterinary College, Diana is able to perform complex soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical procedures at the clinic avoiding referral to specialist clinics.
Diana has great commitment and enthusiasm towards holistic care at the clinic and works hard to ensure we are continually offering exceptional standard of care for you and your pets.
Diana spends her time outside of work looking after her 2 children Hamish and Emmeline, her Great Dane Leila (who you are likely to meet at your visit to the clinic!) and her four cats BJ, Artie, Ollie and Olaf.
With a family including two young children, an always growing number of pets and managing two clinics there is not a lot of leisure time. However, when time does permit, she enjoys playing hockey, skiing, bushwalking and playing the violin.
